The 80s were an awesome decade for music...we used to "bust a move" to these classics:

OMG.... I love 80's and 90's music! It was the best and continues to be the best! Riada, I too grew up in the 80's and remember dancing to most of the songs listed above at Jr and Sr high school dances or while warming up at volleyball and soccer practices! I had many of those songs on vinyl and cassette! Now a lot of it is on my ipod and I enjoy listening to it in the car - especially when "cruising" with friends just like we used to way back when - lmao (Oh gawd I'm severely dating myself now too!!) Really I'm not THAT old!

Riada, I was only a small child during the 80's. I was born in 83. But that music stuck with me. I remember watching MTV at my grandma's house watching the AHA video in awe. 80's music is so fun and it brings back good memories. :x

That was when MTV was at its best, Lith! That AHA video was really cool! I was in my 20s in the 80s...me and my friends used to go to clubs every weekend...we saw "The Breakfast Club" and "Purple Rain" and "Desperately Seeking Susan" when they were first in theaters...these songs are the soundtrack to the best decade of my life! Of course you dont have to be my age to appreciate 80s music...i was a little girl in the 60s and I loved The Dave Clark Five, Paul Revere and the Raiders, and I was totally in love with The Monkees!! When I was about 5 years old, my favorite song was "Wooly Bully" ! Thats the great thing about music...its universal...when something is good, it usually transcends time!!
