Flood Report

Anyone have any pics or info on some area flooding?

By me, the dam at Lake Shawnee blew out a section about 12 feet wide and is just pouring tons of water our way.

Nice pics Pat. We got it pretty bad up here in N. Bergen County. Driving around today I saw a few houses underwater and a floating car or two. Unfortunenately I forgot to bring my camera.

Here are some photos from up in my neck of the woods. I am fine, but the low lying areas, not so much...

Holy hell Vacant! Are you by the Passaic river at all? The falls by my house were RAGING today! I took some pictures but i took them on a disposable camera so I have to get them developed and scanned before I can post them. We also had a transformer that blew by me. I have a pretty good panoramic view of my neighborhood and you can see the sky lighting up in all different colors with a weird buzzing sound. I must admit though I had no idea what the hell was going on till I called the police to ask them what the fuck was going on. It seriously scared the shit out of me and my husband. It was one of the most surreal things I have ever experienced! It was straight out of war of the worlds!

No, I'm by the Pequannock River, this storm was the worst I have ever seen the river flood. It was pretty crazy to see the lower half of town literally underwater.

Yep, I'm fine. I just came back from my little adventure to check out all the carnage. It's pretty bad.

That is so good to hear I was worried for those of you up that way, the tv was showing vid clips of the aftermath and it was looking horrid, so I am glad everyones ok.

Worst here so far has been power been out for over 3 hours now.

today is my day off but i just got the call to come in. Aparently the low lying areas of Oakland along the Ramapo river are going to be evacuated. I'm on my way to get the emergency trailer. Fuck I hate rain and snow!

ya know, with the tsunamis everywhere, its kind of funny to see people calling in the national gaurd for 2 feet of water. Dry here in verona

Oh yeah I forgot to add that they are evacuating many of the streets by me. The water is about 200 yards away from man street. It's not as bad as last year but it's still bad. It seems like every year 100's of people get flooded out.

Haha you like that one! The water is even higher now. Two dip shits decided to boat down Grey rock ave to go looting houses and the FD from three towns went searching for them.

After derby practice, I am going to try and take a bunch of pics around town. I'd have to say the devastation tops last years. My property seems to be a mecca for people to take a look at the river from a safe distance.

You should charge some money for it!
