A Chinese girl whose name unfortunately translated as "chicken dung" has legally changed her name now that she is an adult.

"At last, she is no longer afraid to show anybody her ID card," said the father of the girl, whose birth name was Ji Shi.

Her new name, Yingzi, translates as beautiful.

*Riada's retort:
""At last, she is no longer afraid to show anybody her ID card," said the father of the girl" REALLY? THEN WHY DID YOU NAME HER THAT??

Having worked with many kids at summer camps, in schools and at the pediatric hospital I've come to realize that there are a lot of strange names out there. I often wonder if the parents were high when they named their little darlings!!
