Sorry to post a location twice, but here is my full set from my local asylum in VA. More on my Flickr

This is about a ten minute walk from my place, doesn't get much more local than that. Visited with ViceR and The Crowing, later joined by AppleSnail and Aurelie, all from UER

The entire campus had a very park-like atmosphere

Hundreds and hundreds (maybe over a thousand?) unmarked graves without even numbers. The painted numbers had worn off long ago

Oh my god. This place is just... beautiful. Breath-taking, even. I wish it wasn't so far from me. I think this calls for a road trip one day ^_^
