Medfield State Hospital

Medfield State Hospital campus in Medfield, Massachusetts. A classic asylum cottage plan campus (noted as the first cottage plan in the US). I had visited this place a few times prior but this particular visit was interesting. The proper owner was with us an unlocked the doors to any building we asked to go in! It was a great time and the owner was very happy to be able to show us around. This place became famous for it being the filming location for the movie "Shutter Island".
