This sprawling cottage style campus littered with dozens of shuttered buildings has warranted many return trips over the years. The following pictures remain from a solo adventure I embarked upon a couple of years past. The extensive network of tunnels connecting the various buildings are a wonder to wander. Abrupt turns, rusty steam pipes, and unearthly insects create an underground obstacle corse, the challenge further heightened under a veil of darkness, dimly lit by flashlight. Such an environment might seem like a navigational nightmare, but when one is alone such obstacles mellow into the overall experience of a thrilling explore. Becoming lost is no longer a concern, for no such reality exists in solitary. Just myself and my curiosity to rule the ruins. I traveled where my feet took me, popping up in random buildings, all the while taking in the experiences and sights for what they're worth.
