I actually should have named this thread "The Concrete Tomb". One wrong slip and its a long way down to Your death. All of the cat walks are extremely rusty making navigation treacherous. On several of them You would feel the decaying steel flex and shift under Your weight. One could imagine the size of the generators this building used to house. It felt like standing on the launch pad of the space shuttle. Some of the graffiti is very impressive. I thought I was risking a lot just by carefully stepping lightly along the steel, but these artists have nerves of "steel" or are just really dumb. All in all it was a great trip and will definitely be going back again. Thanks to VacantNJ for the information on this death trap!
