For those armchair urban explorers out there here's your LEGAL way of exploring Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum. The travel Channel has nicely laid out the entire building for us as well as slideshows of various rooms. I have noticed that our beloved Essex Mountain Sanatorium has been mentioned a bit in the new Weird NJ issue.( as well as a 5-7 pages about Overbrook hospital itself.
