The biggest, fastest, longest, weirdest and wackiest record breakers featured in the 2014 edition of “Guinness World Records.”

Look out! Zollner Elektronik AG in Zandt, Germany created the world's largest walking robot. It measures 51 feet 6 inches long, 40 feet 5 inches wide and 26 feet 10 inches tall, and it was displayed in Berlin on Sept. 27, 2012.

Sometimes fashion-conscious women are in a big, big hurry. The fastest 100 meters ever run by a woman in high heels happened in just 14.531 seconds. Julia Plecher attained the record on the set of Guinness World Records in Europa Park, Rust, Germany on July 13, 2012.

Largest living cat
Meow-WOW! The world’s largest living cat is Hercules, an adult male liger — that is, a lion and tigress hybrid. Hercules measures 131 inches long, stands 49 inches tall at the shoulder and weighs 922 pounds. He lives at Myrtle Beach Safari, a wildlife reserve in South Carolina.


Largest collection of ‘Star Wars’ memorabilia
Steve Sansweet has amassed an estimated 300,000 unique “Star Wars” items at Rancho Obi-Wan in Northern California. As of May 15, 2013, only 90,546 of those items had been accurately audited and catalogued — but that number was sufficient to beat the previous Guinness World Records figure by a factor of four. Sansweet estimated that the cataloguing process will take years to complete, as his collection continues to grow.

The longest beard on a woman belongs to Vivian Wheeler of the United States. Her beard measured at 10.04 inches from the follicle to the tip of hair on the set of “Lo Show Dei Record” in Milan, Italy on April 8, 2011.

Shortest living dog
So tiny! The smallest living dog (in terms of height) is a female Chihuahua named Milly, who measured just 3.8 inches tall on Feb. 21, 2013. Milly lives with owner Vanesa Semler in Dorado, Puerto Rico.


A contortionist with multiple records
Leilani Franco is so flexible that she holds more than one world record. Her accomplishments include: a record for traveling in a backbend position for a distance of 65 feet, 7.2 inches in 10.05 seconds; a record for traveling in a contortion roll for a distance of 65 feet, 7.2 inches in 17.47 seconds; and a record for performing 25 full-body revolutions while in the chest-stand position in one minute

The smallest roadworthy car measures 25 inches high, 2 feet 1.75 inches wide and 4 feet 1.75 inches long. It was created by Austin Coulson and measured in Carrollton, Texas on Sept. 7, 2012. Pictured in the tiny vehicle is Lisa Stoll, Couslon's girlfriend.

Tallest rideable motorcycle
The tallest rideable motorcycle measures 16 feet 8.78 inches tall from the ground to the top of the handlebars. Fabio Reggiani constructed the motorcycle, which was ridden over a 100-meter course at Montecchio Emilia, Italy, on March 24, 2012.

Meet KneeHi, the world’s shortest donkey! Born on Oct. 2, 2007, KneeHi is a brown jack who measured 25.29 inches to the top of the withers at Best Friends Farm in Gainesville, Fla., on July 26, 2011. A registered miniature Mediterranean donkey, KneeHi is owned by Jim and Frankie Lee.

Couple with most body modifications
The most body modifications for a married couple is ... drum roll ... 77! The record is held by Victor Hugo Peralta of Uruguay and his wife, Gabriela Peralta of Argentina, who married on Feb. 21, 2008. Their 77 modifications include 50 piercings, four microdermal implants, 11 body implants, five dental implants, four ear expanders, two ear bolts and one forked tongue.

Fastest crossing of a tightrope by a dog
Go Ozzy! The Border Collie/Kelpie mix achieved the record for the fastest crossing of a tightrope by a dog. He did it in just 18.22 seconds on Feb. 1, 2013 at F.A.I.T.H. Animal Rescue in Norfolk, England.

Tallest useable pogo stick
The tallest useable pogo stick is 9 feet 6.5 inches. This record was achieved by American Fred Grzybowski at the Toronto International Busker Festival on Aug. 7, 2011.
