WEMPLE-John, 79. Of Bridgewater, NJ, died at his home on December 16 after a long illness. He was the son of the late William Lester Wemple and Dorothy Gunnells Wemple. He is survived by brothers William Wemple of Charlottesville, VA and Francis Holland Wemple of Plandome, NY and eleven nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Mary Margaret Wemple. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2002 at noon at the St. John's Episcopal Church, 158 W. High St., Somerville, NJ.
Open Space Partnership Grant
Bridgewater, Wemple Tract, $100,000 - Acquisition of 36.11-acres consisting of primarily forested wetlands and located along Foot Hill Road. It is one of the largest undeveloped tracts remaining in Bridgewater Township. Bridgewater envisions primarily passive recreation for the site.
