It turns out that one of the mines was right at the trail head. About 100 yards from an old processing plant. I have pictures of the old processing plant. But only the foundation still stands
We did find a small cavern that went in about 15 feet. I may go back tomorrow with my cousin to check out the one mine.
There are a bunch of old abandoned houses in this area of the park. Most river front.

Also, you can slide under the locked gate, but you'll get dirty.
There are other mine entrances right near there, but I haven't had the time to go back.
