Well according to a research study done and published in April 2003 by The Royal Society, yes fish do feel pain.

Well technically a Muse is any one of the 9 sister goddesses in Greek mythology presiding over song and poetry and the arts and sciences.

But muse can also mean:
to think or say refectively,
a state of deep thought or of dreamy abstraction, or
a sorce of inspiration.

To say your rants are more like muses, I'm saying that your postings are not really rants about anything, but rather just random thoughts (muses) about things.
